Fluxwerx introduces two new architectural LED luminaires

Fluxwerx announces the launch of Rails and Profile Mini—the two latest additions to our expanding ranges of LED luminaires for commercial, institutional, retail and healthcare environments. Fluxwerx products share a design DNA of diminutive, aesthetic form factors utilizing architectural-grade materials and superior optical and energy performance to deliver luminaires with precise batwing distributions, exceptional functionality and energy efficiency.
Complementing the award-winning Fluxwerx product family, these two new LED luminaires feature Fluxwerx signature Anidolic optics. These precision-engineered, high transmittance optics eliminate visible images of the LED point source and ensure consistent color.

Rails
A recessed luminaire that is designed for integration with architectural intention, Rails is a continuation of Fluxwerx's procession of optical innovation. The luminaire's dual optical rails, balanced with the luminous floating effect of the translucent horizontal panels, eliminate visible images of intense LED point sources. The result is a precise distribution providing greater on-center spacing while keeping glare to the minimum, exceptional work plane uniformity with lower energy density and maximum visual comfort.
Available in three sizes - 2×2, 1×4 and 2×4 - the luminaire's slim 3.5" profile reduces the influence on the ceiling height to the minimum, making it suitable for a wide range of applications and spaces. Designed to seamlessly integrate into the built environment, Rails can be used in drywall or grid ceiling conditions, delivering over 40fc at less than 0.4 W/ft and workplane max/min under 1.5.

Profile Mini
A two-thirds scaled expression of the minimalist architectural aesthetics of the original Profile series, Profile Mini is a diminutive linear LED pendant luminaire with unique hollow aperture design, delivering unparalleled longitudinal clarity and transparency right through the fixture. With no electrical connections at fixture joints required, Profile Mini can be installed as an independent pendant or as a continuous lighting system with virtually seamless runs.
Profile Mini's low brightness, continuous lenses emit light from both interior planes of the luminaire, efficiently and precisely directed to create a batwing distribution in both the hemispheres. Outperforming many bigger luminaires and measuring only 2" in height, Profile Mini makes it possible to space runs wide apart for aggressive and sustainable, energy efficient design with power densities of typically between 0.30 and 0.50 W/ft2
A choice of various output and distribution options allows Profile Mini to be used as a discrete and minimal lighting solution in various environments and conditions. In addition, Profile Mini is also available with an independent up-down lighting control option that provides fully dimmable or switchable independent control of the upper and lower hemispherical distributions.
Control and Sensors
To save energy, reduce installation and maintenance costs and maximize occupant comfort, all Fluxwerx products are designed to agnostically integrate with a wide range of sensors, lighting controls and building management systems. Fluxwerx now offers fully integrated canopy sensor solutions from Enlighted and nLight. This is the result of the latest advancements in sensor and controls technologies combined with unique algorithms designed to separate ambient light (electrical and daylight) from light emitted directly from the luminaire.
