ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR >

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our rapidly growing company. In this position you will work closely with vendors, sales agents, and all departments within the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as experience in accounts payable and working in an ERP system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • PO and non-PO invoices
  • Freight invoices
  • Brokerage invoices
  • Employee expense reports
  • Corporate credit card expenses
  • Reconciling vendor statements and responding to vendor inquiries
  • Reviewing unbilled receiving for old items and investigating
  • Assisting with other tasks in the department as needed

WHAT YOU OFFER:

  • 2+ years’ experience in accounts payable
  • 2+ years’ experience working in an ERP system
  • Working in a paperless environment is an asset
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work quickly with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

JUNIOR MECHANICAL DESIGNER >

We are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Designer with an appreciation for details to join our close and highly creative new product design team. You will have key responsibilities to design specific innovative mechanical solutions for LED luminaire development and production. Proficiency in SolidWorks is a pre-requisite. Experience in designing for mass production is advantageous. Programming and operational experience with CNC milling machines is beneficial but not required. Good communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. You must have a degree or diploma in a mechanical design discipline and strong references.

EDUCATION:

Minimum 2 year technical diploma

EXPERIENCE:

–          Shop experience with common woodworking and metalworking tools.

–           Basic electrical knowledge.

–           Proficiency using SolidWorks

–           CNC Machining and programming experience an asset

–           Basic electronics knowledge is an asset

–           Industrial design experience an asset

–           Prior experience designing for any following manufacturing methods is an asset:

– Sheetmetal

– Aluminum Extrusion

– Injection Molding

– Machining

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Detailing concept designs for costing, testing and verification.
  • Hands on prototyping, building one off samples with a high degree of skill and attention to detail
  • Machining high precision prototypes from a variety of materials.

NEW PRODUCT DESIGNER >

We are currently seeking a New Product Designer with an appreciation for details to join our close and highly creative new product design team. INSIDE SALES + SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE >

We are currently seeking a Inside Sales + Support Representative to join our growing team.  As part of a team working with the Sales/Marketing, Operations and Engineering teams, you will be challenged to deliver exceptional sales support to in-field Regional Sales Managers and other outside sales reps while leveraging your problem solving and relationship management abilities to address architectural, engineering and installer technical and onsite construction issues with urgency and excellence.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ideal candidate has a strong customer orientation; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong analytical skills; a desire to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment; and a demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple requirements.
  • Interact with leading architects, engineers, building consultants, and trades across North America to provide technical assistance.
  • 2-4 years of previous work experience in inside sales or customer service or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience in MS Word, Excel and working with an ERP system is beneficial – Infor Syteline a plus.
  • Experience in the commercial lighting industry or experience in other specification grade architectural product categories in a construction-oriented industry is highly beneficial but not required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing organization is also a plus.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.   Training will be provided.
